A New Chief Gaming Officer Starts Working at Yggdrasil Gaming

Yggdrasil, a top-tier developer of award-winning casino games, has appointed Mark McGinley as Chief Gaming Officer. The company says the hiring will help bolster its recently merged gaming team. 

Mark McGinley joins Yggdrasil Gaming with a vast background in B2C and B2B gaming. He has over 25 years of experience and has been successful in game development, product, and studio departments. The company has praised him as a "highly business and commercially driven" individual with an acute awareness of the competitive gaming industry.

Before his appointment at Yggdrasil, McGinley was the CEO of FunFair Games. In addition, he was the Director of Game Studios at Entain and the Program Director at RNG Foundry. While at RNG Foundry, McGinley was instrumental in giving independent game studios the ability to create thrilling, captivating, and top-notch online casino games distributed via the renowned Games Global platform.

But that's not all in McGinley's long and decorated portfolio. He has occupied senior-level Game Studio positions at Casumo, one of Europe's leading regulated gambling sites. The official had a similar role at Odobo. 

This appointment coincides with the company's decision to merge its Studio verticals and Product & Programs into a single Gaming division. The alteration will make the game development company more open and straightforward by streamlining procedures.

• Product development process assurance
• More agile content delivery
• More cross-company knowledge sharing
• A laser-focus on the operator and player needs

Speaking of player needs, the company recently released Candyfinity, a candy-themed slot with the rewarding Winning Streak mechanic. A few days earlier, Yggdrasil partnered with Boomerang Games to announce Orca's Wild Bonanza, taking players underwater to meet the beautiful sea creatures. 

McGinley commented on his appointment, saying:
